We’re here to help
At any golf course, the most qualified and experienced person on the management team is usually the Head Greenkeeper or Course Manager. Sadly the profession doesn’t generally get the respect it deserves, despite the fact that the modern day greenkeeper is challenged by balancing the needs of a wide range of competing interests, increasingly unpredictable weather, limited budgets, raised expectations, rapidly advancing technology, H&S, and legislation changes to name but a few. This is a difficult job, but fortunately there are consultants available who can share the load, especially if there is no budget for recruitment.
EcoBunker Ltd employs a diverse team of professionals with a wide range of skills which are available to golf courses on a consultancy basis.
EcoBunker Ltd is owned and managed by Richard Allen, a civil engineer who has 27 years of experience providing consultancy services to landowners, contractors, developers, architects, planning consultants, local authorities and golf courses. Skill areas specific to golf courses include, (but are not limited to) drainage and land drainage, all forms of bunker engineering design and construction, planning, H&S, contract management, access road and car park design, feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis.
Richard has been providing engineering based consultancy advice to golf clubs for many years. Examples are:
